ABOUT ME
As a qualified physiotherapist I have spent nearly a decade learning and exploring how exercise can transform the human body. During this time I have worked both for the NHS and privately and am currently a clinical specialist at Southampton General Hospital. My passion for promoting ongoing fitness and well-being started with pilates, gaining APPI instructor qualifications in 2012. Over the last 6 years I have taught 1-2-1 clinical pilates and classes from beginners to advanced level. It remains a core pillar of my physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes.
My desire to be able to offer high quality, authentic yoga classes locally inspired me to travel to India to complete my yoga instructor qualification and begin integrating this in my practice. I am now proud to be able to offer both Yoga and Pilates classes at Wildground Infant School, Dibden Purlieu, from May 2018. Physiotherapy, sports massage and 1-2-1 pilates or yoga sessions available on request in the comfort of your own home.
My qualifications:
Chartered Physiotherapist, Bsc Hons Cardiff University 2009
APPI matwork Pilates level 2, 2012
Yoga Alliance 200 hour certificate, 2018
Basic life support first aid training, 2018
